Flash comment: Latvia - CPI June 2020
In June, prices down by 0.7%

  • Prices of goods fell by 1.6% 
  • Prices of services rose by 1.3% 

The spread of coronavirus in Latvia is well controlled and the restrictions introduced in March were eased quite quickly. Therefore, the situation with price changes is starting to stabilize. We can see adjustments in the services sector, where prices are rising on average, but prices are still falling sharply for some services. The fall in "imported" fuel prices is easing.
